Location: Center of Shah Alam near the mosque.

WiFi/SSID: Library Shah Alam

Plugs: a lot. I was doing my work at their Internet & Multimedia Room and every desk is equipped with 2 plug points and one LAN port. This LAN port is for those laptops who’re facing WiFi problem and couldn’t connect. Wire can borrow from their counter.

Toilet: 2 minutes walk. at Ground Floor and go inside the library for kids.

Category/Halal: No eating at library

Surau/Mosque/Prayer Rooms: Lower Ground floor.

Nearest alternatives: Unknwon. But if you wanna eat something, just go to their cafe. Still interwebbed.

Amenities: Unknown.

Review: Library is one of the good and conducive mobile office, however, be remembered that you’re unable to eat and drink inside. Luckily their caretaker put a cafe just outside the library. People online from there too. The plugs in the room was in pairs so you’ll have no problem to plug extra stuff. Their internet freaking fast so use it wisely.

    The cafe operator has an annoying habit of switching off the lamps and fans exactly at 5.30pm, regardless if there are still people sitting around. So, regulars would wait until he left and turn the lights back on. The central air-cond and Wifi continue to run until much later.
