Review: This Old Town is situated opposite Coffee Bean and Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital. Surprisingly, there is plenty of plugs here. Every table that placed near with the wall almost have one plug. Beware as it can be packed at times. Another thing is about the parking. At night or day, parking could be a problem but behind Ampang Puteri there’s a per-entry parking.

Review: Located behind McDonalds Petronas Ampang Jaya, is a German Deli made by Germans. Muslims don’t afraid, it’s certified Halal. The attraction to this place is the unusual BIG and huge burger, sandwich, and hot dogs. Price are on par with Carl’s Jr/Burger King, but much better. That Big ass Megaton only for RM16. add RM3 for fries and carbonated drinks.

Location: Ground Floor Ampang Point Shopping Center

Plugs: 4. 3 inside, 1 outside. Unsure if there’s more plug at outside.

Toilet: 3 minutes walk inside the mall. The toilet only operates following the shopping mall operating hour. Close at 10PM but the cafe closed at 1130PM

Amenities: This shopping mall has a convenience store nearby.

Review: San Francisco Coffee was one of the earliest Coffee Joints In Ampang Point. Lately they renovated their store. Now it’s indeed more funkier than before this. Overall the place and environment was nice, and you got to see the bustling Ampang Point. Just that Toilet factor weakens it a bit because not just the toilet is inside the mall, you have to pay 30cents for it. And the worst is if you stayed up till late night, the toilet closed at 10PM.

And another factor to love San Francisco Coffee here, every weekend they offer Buy One Free One for their Extreme/Ice Blended. So for RM 14+ you got two ice blended. And my strategy if i’m going to work on the weekend, I purchase those Buy One Free One, another one can tapau or just stay there longer :p

Oh yeah this is my second visit here. My first visit is last 2 years, where Mdm Khairina – Skor/Berita Harian interviewed me for the previous community project – Al-Quran for PSP. I’m with Edry, as representative from Usrah Institution, MMU Cyberjaya as their members and me collaborate to do it.

Review: The good thing about McDonalds is refillable soft drinks. The bad thing however is their refillable soft drinks. Because it has tooo many sugar. Other than that I have no problem but the scarce supply of socket will be a big problem here, especially for those whose battery drain so fast.

Review: One of my previous client said if you like Kenny Rogers, you’ll not like Nando’s, and vice versa. So I took a spin to try out Nando’s today and I consider Nando’s a big win. Why? because they have Bottomless a.k.a refillable soft drinks and if you’ve been watching over your weight like nazroll who’s successfully lost many weights, then there’s Ice Lemon Tea, refillable. I found out this is one of the winning point. The downside is, one glasses of Ice Lemon Tea is Rm6.30. But again, it’s refillable. Wins. The environment here is nice and cozy, because i think it’s not too crowded.

Plugs: A lot. Ground floor there’s 8 plugs, 5 inside the air-conditioned area and 3 at the smoking area. Above have around 5-6 plugs, with Japanese Table in the smoking area.

Toilet: 1st Floor upstairs

Surau/Mosque/Prayer Rooms: The nearest would be at the first floor of Pelita Nasi Kandar that is nearby. The surau however is pretty small and can fit 4 men at one time. Man or woman have to take turns to pray there. Alternative surau would be at Ampang Point or Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital

Nearest alternatives: Nando’s, Kenny Rogers, unsure if Pelita had but my last visit were none, San Francisco Coffee Ampang Point.

Amenities: 7 Eleven enarby and there’s a stationery shop, alongide Imavest Auto that sells Honda

Review: It’s the beginning of my mobile office. It is here. Pretty comfy and many plugs, but the competition will be hot during the day since they didn’t open the first floor, unless if it’s too crowded on the ground floor. One thing to note that this area is flooded with kids asking for alms, kids selling some weird oil and people selling pirated CD’s. The safest is to stay inside the counter-area lol.
